Barbara Sher announced today on Twitter that she’s about to send out her latest newsletter. TA DA!!
Maybe that doesn’t sound much like news to you. Your inbox is probably cluttered up with newsletters already. But unlike others I’ve signed up for, Barbara’s newsletters don’t arrive very frequently or regularly. I guess that’s because she’s a Scanner herself and is busy doing so many other things. And they are always worth waiting for.
Events In this one she’s writing about her upcoming events: a Scanner’s Retreat in Europe, a weekend residential workshop in New York, and a WriteSpeak teleworkshop and retreat in North Carolina, in which she teaches “ordinary” people to be writers and speakers.
Specially for Scanners The Scanners’ Retreat on the Greek island of Corfu in September must be the ultimate event for Scanners and Renaissance souls. Not just because Barbara is such an expert at helping people like us sort out their lives, but because of the opportunity to spend that time getting to know other members of your tribe. People I’ve met who have been on these retreats tell me it has led to life-long friendships and continuing support from their group.
Barbara’s newsletters usually include a couple of inspiring audio tips as a bonus too.
