Refuse to Choose: The Forum for Scanners “What should you do when you want to do everything? If you’re fascinated by everything, and you’ve been called dabbler, dilettante, undisciplined, indecisive etc., this forum is for you.”
This Scanners’ forum is a sub-board of Barbara Sher’s main Bulletin Boards. You can go there by clicking the title link above, or going to the board index and scrolling down until you find it. It’s a fantastic resource of information for scanners, and a place for connecting with other members of your tribe.
Of course there’s no need to confine yourself to the Scanners’ board. Most of us Scanners love rambling around seeing what everyone else is up to on the other SherBoards, and brainstorming solutions to other people’s problems. And if you’re too shy to post you can just hang around and read as much as you want.
There are guidelines for new users in the Resources Forum and there’s a New Users post here first thread for you to practice on. It’s best to post just a short introductory message there. You won’t get much response to questions. If you want a discussion, click at the top where it says Board index and choose the best board to post it on.
Scanners Refuse to Choose Forums These are Barbara Sher’s other boards specially for Scanners. The public part isn’t as active as on the main boards, but there’s plenty of good information. If you want to post here you have to register separately from the main boards, but it’s a good idea to have the same username so people will recognise you in both places. There are also private forums here for people who have attended Scanner Retreats.
When I started writing this post I went over to check the url of these boards and found AAARRRRGGGGHHH!!!! it had been invaded by pr0n and pharma. That doesn’t happen very often because these boards are very well taken care of by webmaster Merk, but sometimes the spammers manage to slip through. I reported it to Merk and thought it would take a long time for him to clean it up, but he blazed through it in just a few minutes. The spammers had no chance! So now the boards are pure and clean again for you to visit.
Renaissance Souls Yahoo Group Margaret Lobenstine, who wrote The Renaissance Soul: Life Design for People with Too Many Passions to Pick Just One, used to have a forum at her website, but it had a lot of problems with spam and she abandoned it. She now has a Renaissance Souls Yahoo Group instead.
